There is still the major issue of noise when it comes to urban wind generators. Wind generators are noisy and that factor needs to be taken into account. Read http://www.poweredgenerators.com/wind-power-generators.html

Great point. Many of the test installations for these WindCubes will be on top of commercial or industrial buildings where rooftop a/c and ventilation already creates significant noise. That said, this is still an issue that needs to be adequately mitigated as this technology matures.
Another cool point about the WindCubes is that they can be installed in less urban environments as well, such as airports, where the noise may not be as much of a concern. Thanks for your comment.
