Where to hike to see waterfalls

Scenic Overlook Trail
This short trail in Breckville Reservation of Cleveland Metroparks allows for a view of a small waterfall on Chippewa Creek.

Gorge Trail
While not truly a waterfall anymore, the 60-foot high dam across the Cuyahoga River Gorge is still an awe-inspiring sight. Interestingly, the dam was built across the lowest cascade of the great falls of the Cuyahoga River, the falls for which the city of Cuyahoga Falls is named. the very last shale cascade of the big falls is visible at the bottom of the dam on this trail.

Cascade Falls Trail
This waterfall on Cascade Creek is surrounded by sandstone cliffs and is sure to enchant you in the springtime.

Minnehaha Falls Trail
These waterfalls in Nelson Ledges State Park are interesting and can be seen from the top and from the bottom at different points while hiking at the park.
